Smashbox Drawn In. Decked Out. Shadow and Highlight Palette Set

   Smashbox and Ana Strumpf collaborated on this set to inspire creativity and fun with makeup.

   This set has 2 eyeshadow palettes with 8 eyeshadows each, and a palette with 3 highlighters in it. The art work on the box and all 3 palettes were designed by Ana Strumpf. The palette covers are lenticular and each has a different main colour on them, this set also includes a sheet of stickers that are also designed by Ana.

   I am not a fan of the design for a holiday set and think it would have suited a spring or summer set, but I do like the colours used and the look of the lenticular covers. While the stickers would be cute to use as a decoration on wrapping for these palettes, I think an eyeliner or mascara would have been better, or at least include one or the other as well.

   The 3 palettes that come in the set are part of the permanent collection are:

Turn It On, Crank It Up and Blow A Fuse

 The eyeshadows are nice and smooth and blend really well on the eyes. I am very impressed with the formula of the eyeshadows and how long they lasted on my eyes. The highlights are nice and soft, but there is one that is a bit glittery, which is called Blow a Fuse. I think that this is a great set to give, receive or keep for yourself!
