Urban Decay has come out a with a new eyeshadow palette that is meant for the traveller in you. It has pictures from all over the world on the outside of the palette, and the name of the palette in white on the front in the bottom right.
The palette itself has a bit of weight to it and it feels like it is made of nice sturdy plastic, which would help keep the eyeshadows intact when travelling with it. It has a strong magnetic closure so that it won't open up when you travel with it. It also has a nice mirror in it, which can be folded all the way around so you can hold it better. You can prop the palette up on its edge to use the mirror hands free if you want.
This palette is very versatile, you can do neutral, smoky, and many colourful looks. I am loving this palette. I have been using it for a few weeks now and every look I have done has turned out really nice.
The eyeshadows in this palette are very pigmented and go on very nicely. I have had a few issues with a couple of the shadows though. Breakaway has a lot of kick up, but still goes on pretty well. The only one that I am truly disappointed in is Guilt Trip. When I apply it it looks really pretty but when I go to blend it, it disappears. I did find that some of the eyeshadows did crease on my eyes with certain primers, so you may have to play around and find a primer that works well with these shadows. The one that I found works well with these is the Covergirl Lid Lock Up Eyeshadow Primer.
Top Row left to right: Breakaway, Stranded, Blaze, Weekender, Still Shot, Riff, Good As Gone.
Middle Row left to right: Hell Ride, Baja, Accelerate, Guilt Trip, Ignite, Smog and Wanderlust.
Bottom Row left to right: Wildheart, Punk, Double Life, Jet, Drift, Radio and Big Sky
This is a great palette to get if you like playing with colours.
$59 at Sephora.ca and at Shoppers Drug Mart
