Clarins Mission Perfection Yeux SPF 15

   This eye product targets dark circles that are persistent and instantly illuminates your under eye.

   This product comes in a squeeze tube with a beveled brush that has ultra-soft bristles on it. It also has a On/Off switch on it. You turn the brush to either the On/Off position and the arrow will indicate which position it is in.

   This formula helps to illuminate both blue dark circles and brown dark circles. It has an Vitamin C derivative and Acerola extract in it to help reduce the overproduction of melanin.  There is also Escin from Horse Chesnut, this helps with poor blood circulation that creates the blue dark circles.

Also in the formula are radiance pearls and a High-Lumitech Complex that has three different coloured pigments to counterbalance all the colours in dark circles. Green to cancel out redness, violet to help brighten and pink to wake up tired looking skin. It also has also soft focus pigments to help blur, and a universal tinted formula.

      This illuminator also helps protect your eye contour from pollution and UV. It has an anti-pollution complex that helps protect against the effects of indoor and outdoor pollution. The SPF used in it is mineral sunscreen called titanium dioxide. This sunscreen helps protect from both UVA and UVB rays.  

   You can use this on your upper and lower lids and your inner corner. After you use it, don’t forget to wipe off the brush so that the product doesn’t build up on it.

The formula itself feels nice and smooth and has a peachy-orange look to it that is a bit too deep for my skin tone to wear by itself. I have to put foundation over it and it usually creases on me even if I set it. I find that it does cover my dark circles really well though. It also has a bit of a powdery, floral scent to it that dissipates.

   This formula has been ophthalmologist; dermatologist tested and is suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.

   Overall I like that this illuminator covers my dark circles and has an SPF in it, but it does crease on me and is a bit pricey.
