The eyeshadows are in a black heavy plastic case that has a lenticular front on it. The picture on the front of the palette is a waterfront view with palm trees on it that goes from day to night. It also has a full size mirror in it.
The colours in the palette are inspired by the sunsets, skylines and streets of L.A. There are four different quads in the palette that go together to create one look, or you can mix and match from them all to create your own look. The four quads are brights, warm tone, cool tone and smoky, it has everything you need to create looks that will take you from day to night and also a few pops of colour to have fun with.
Left to right: Venice Peach, Westsider, Best Coast and #Sunset.
Left to right: Vanilla, There's Valet, Drop Top and Almond.
Left to right:Nectar, Rose Bowler, Canyon Copper and Java.
Left to right: Deco, Hang, Platinum and Eastsider.
The eyeshadows in it are very pigmented but have a lot of fallout to them. The shadows lasted all day on my lids and didn’t crease or fade. I love that I can create lots of different looks with this palette and it is very easy to use. I didn’t see any repeats in it from the smaller Covershot palettes either.
The gel liner in it is very pigmented and glides on very smooth. It also lasts all day and doesn’t smear at all on me.
Overall I really like this palette and will continue to use it.
