CoverGirl Vitalist Elixir Foundation

This new CoverGirl foundation says that it is lightweight, full coverage makeup that hydrates and includes SPF 20, vitamins E, B3 and B5 and is oil free. It comes in 14 shades.

The active ingredient in the sunscreen is ensulizole. Ensulizole is a common sunscreen agent that is water-soluble and has characteristic of feeling light on the skin. Because of this it is used in products that companies don’t want to feel greasy. It is primarily a UVB protecting agent that provides minimal UVA protection.

I tried it out for a week and noticed that on my dry skin it did hold up for over 12 hours and felt lightweight and at times I forgot that I was wearing it. It has a floral scent to it so if you're sensitive to scents you might not like it. It did oxidize a few shades darker though. Being very fair it was like I got an instant tan without the hard work. So depending on how you look at it, it could be a win!  Be careful with the lid it comes off easily.

Overall I would recommend this foundation but keep in mind that it does oxidize and to go a few shades lighter if you can.

Retails for $17.99
