I really love this lip balm. I use it every night, it has saved my lips many times. My lips use to crack in the corners and bleed all of the time. I have used many other lip products to try and fix it but I found that this is the only thing that has healed my lips and kept them nice and smooth. It has a medicine smell to it that is not overpowering and it goes on clear.
Some of the ingredients in the product are:
Menthol Lactate, Menthol and Defensil – These provide immediate soothing relief.
Vitamin E, Vitamin A and Watercress Extract – These ingredients help condition, smooth and repair the lips.
Petrolatum, Shea Butter, Palm Tree Butter, Honey Extract and Essential Fatty Acids – This mixture of emollients helps seal in moisture and smooths and softens your lips.
Petrolatum and Arnica Oil – These ingredients create a protective barrier on the lips to hold on the skin and helps heal dry chapped lips.
Many People do not know this But Elizabeth Arden is actually a Canadian Company. It was founded by Florence Nightingale Graham who was born December 31, 1878 in Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada. She moved to New York in 1908 and in 1909 she had formed a partnership with Elizabeth Hubbard. They bought a piece of property on Fifth Avenue in New York City to start a business together but unfortunately they had a falling out. Since at this point the name Elizabeth was already up on the window she took the name Arden from a local farm and painted the door red from some leftover paint she found in the shop. In 1910 she opened her first salon called Elizabeth Arden Salon and the Red Door became a Symbol that is now on all of their cosmetic packing.
