Gabrielle Chanel

This is the first new line of perfume that Chanel has put out in 15 years. The last new one was Chance 2002.

This Eau De Parfum was created by Olivier Polge and it emanates Gabrielle Chanel’s rebellious personality. The fragrance is based on 4 white flowers: Orange Blossom, Ylang-Ylang, Grasse Tuberose and Jasmine.

The box is a silvery gold colour. When you open the box to take the perfume out, you’ll notice a sleeve around the bottle. This sleeve fits the around the bottle perfectly to stop the perfume from moving around inside the box when it is being moved, preventing the bottle from breaking.

The bottle is a square with 4 inverted beveled lines starting at each corner and meeting at the label. The label is the same silver gold as the outside of the box, and sits right in the middle of the bottle.  The back of the label has all of the legalities on it to keep the bottle simple and elegant. There is little to no marloquette (the slightly curved bottom) in the bottle, making it even more elegant.  The cap is the same size and colour as the label. It also has the double “C” engraved on the top and inside.

I usually do not like floral scents but I do like the smell of this one. If you like florals and want to indulge yourself then try the new Gabrielle Chanel Perfume.
