The Face Shop Real Nature Green Tea Face Mask

   This mask is soaked in a green tea serum that helps soothe your irritated skin, and also revitalizes and refreshes your skin. They extract the herbs by grinding, roasting and boiling them. The mask itself has air pockets that contain the serum so that it stays in the mask, and helps to provide more serum to the skin.

    

   I found this mask to be very hydrating and not at all sticky. They only thing that I didn’t like about it was that the mouth hole wasn’t big enough, and I had to rip it to make it fit.

Nyx Slip Tease Lip Lacquer

   This full coverage gloss is encased in a hexagon tube with a onyx mirror cap. It has an hourglass shaped wand that collects the product in the middle of the wand, and a little at the tip of it.

   As I was applying the gloss on my lips, I found it a bit hard to use the wand. I tried to use just the tip and the middle of the hourglass, but I always had to clean up the lines a bit.

   When I put on this gloss I found it was very moisturizing for a few hours. After a few hours it started to feel like it was drying down a bit, and my lips started to feel dry. It was a bit hard to take off of my lips, as some of the product had settled into the lines of my lips and dried down.

   I really like these glosses but I do wish that there were more neutral nudes available.

Essence Fresh and Fit Awake Make Up

   This cream foundation from Essence is matte and has cranberry water with a vitamin complex (vitamin e, b3 and provitamin b5) in it. It comes in four different shades and is cruelty-free.

   It is supposed to have medium to high coverage, but I found that it was only medium coverage. There is a scent to it, but it does dissipate after a while.

10 Fresh Ivory

    I really like the way that this foundation looks and feels on my skin. It felt like I had nothing at all on my face, and it looked very nice. The only thing that I didn’t like about it is that it did oxidize on my skin.

   I am really impressed with the ingredients that are in this foundation, and I think that they are going in a great direction with them. It has vitamin e, niacinamide, panthenol and sunflower seed oil. This is a new favourite of mine, and I hope that it becomes more accessible soon (the only place that I could find it in Canada is at The Superstore).

  

   I think that for the price this foundation is pretty good, but they really need to come out with more colours in it.

Pixi MatteLast Liquid Lip

   

These liquid lipsticks from Pixi are very pigmented and have a matte finish. They are infused with rose hip oil that helps to moisturize and hydrate your skin.

   

The applicator is shaped like a tear drop with a hole in the middle that helps to line your lips and distribute the product evenly on your lips, without having to dip the applicator into the tube again.

   When the product dries down, it still feels a little bit sticky and you can see all the lines in my lips. I find that it lasts for a long time on my lips, and feels comfortable all day. I didn’t have any trouble taking it off, which is nice if you don’t have any remover available.

I really like these liquid lipsticks and think that they are well worth the price.
