Physicians Formula Butter Eyeshadow

   Physicians Formula has finally come out with eyeshadows. There are two different palettes available, Tropical Days and Sultry Nights.

   The shadows are encased in a reflective silver case with palm leaves on it and a see through window so that you can see the colours.  Included is a dual-ended sponge tip applicator. The back of the palette has all of the shades with their names, and they are also numbered. There are also three looks on it with numbers on different areas on the eyes so that you know where to put the eyeshadow.

   When I opened the palette I found that it smelled like plastic, I was so sad about that. I was really hoping that they would smell like the Butter Blushes and Bronzers. Fortunately the smell doesn’t stay around.

   There are twelve eyeshadows with three different finishes. They are matte, shimmer and foil. The mattes are a bit patchy when you swatch them but they blend out pretty nicely on the eyes. The shimmers and foils also blend out nicely on the eyes.

   I really liked all of the looks that I created using this palette and at the end of the day there was little to no creasing. The only thing I do not like about them is that they are really powdery, and there is a lot of fallout from them even after you tap your brush off. The one eyeshadow that was really bad for fall out is Ready For Rio. I had trouble picking it up with my brush, so I had to use my finger and there was shadow all over my face from it.

   If you are using this palette I would recommend that you do your eyes first then your foundation so that you don’t mess up the rest of your makeup.

   These shadows are hypoallergenic, and have been clinically, ophthalmologist and dermatologist tested. There is also Murumuru, Cupuacu and Tucuma Butter infused in the formula.
