This fragrance starts off smelling a bit fruity then dries
down to a floral woody scent.
Top notes: Pink Kiwi and Mandarin.
Middle notes: Jasmine, Indian Sambac, and Water Lily.
Bottom notes: Amber, Soft woods and Musk.
The box has a gold trim around the edges, with gold writing on
it, and the word Soirée in dark purple script. There is also pink, purple and white splatter
paint all over the box, and reflective squares with a lenticular layer over them
giving it almost a 3D effect. If you move the box around in the light, it looks
like the box has mini lights all over it.
The bottle looks really pretty; it has a beautiful crystal
lid with an organza bow. On the bow is a gold safety pin with a beautiful masquerade
mask that is spilt in two colours (pink with gold sparkles and white) with gold
trim and five crystals on either side. Also on the pin is a gold spiral that
reminds me of party streamers. The bottle itself is square with a raised square
design, on the sides. The glass is ombre frosted glass the goes from frosted at
the top to clear at the bottom. It also has their trademark gold crest on it
and pink and purple splatter.
To me the fruity part reminds me of having drinks with
my friends at night and that lightheartedness before going out, and the dry down
reminds me of being in the club after a few hours with the floral and woody scents
of everyone’s perfumes combining.
Overall I really like this perfume, and I think that the bottle
and box really represent the scent inside.
