I Heart Revolution Chocolate Heart

This heart shaped set has two makeup pigment palettes, one face palette and a bronzer.

The palettes are labelled as pigment palettes and not as eyeshadow palettes, so some of them may stain the skin.

The shadows in the two makeup pigment palettes are okay.  A lot of the mattes are hit or miss, they needed to be built up and even then, some of them fade away a bit by the end of the day. The shimmers in the palettes stay on the lid all day, and look really good.

Red Velvet

Colours left to right: Crumbs, Treat, Lush, Frosting, Caramelize and Patisserie.

Colours left to right: Brown Sugar, Baked, Cream Cheese, Decadent and Chocolate, Beetroot.

Colours left to right: Blend, Cupcake, Infuse, Bitter, Sweet and Red Velvet .

Peanut Butter

Colours left to right: Caramel, Smooth, Crunchy, Case, Shell and Pieces

Colours left to right: Cashew, Cocoa, Cinder, Chunk, Honey and Nutty

Colours left to right: Delish, Peanut Butter, Cup, Salty, Milk Chocolate and Foil

The Face Palette has one matte bronzer and three highlighters. The bronzer has a little bit of shimmer in it but it comes out as a matte bronzer. It does sheer out nicely on the skin but is a bit too dark for my fair skin. The blush in the palette is a satin blush that blends out nicely on the cheeks. It looks like there are three highlighters in the palette; one for fair, one for medium and one for dark skin. I can’t use the darker one but I did try out the light and the medium one. They both blended out really nicely on the skin.

Praline Face Palette

Colours left to right: Temper, Ripple, Bon Bon, Praline and Fondant

The Chocolate Heart Bronzer is a satin bronzer with a little bit of shimmer in it. Once you blend out the bronzer on the skin you can barely notice the shimmer. I like the way that this bronzer looks on my skin.

Chocolate Heart Bronzer

The only thing out of this set that I really like is the Chocolate Heart Bronzer. The face palette is nice but I would personally only use two of the highlighters in it, and to me the colours in the pigment palettes don't really intrigue me. The colour story just looks odd to me. Overall it is a nice set if you like all of the colours and would use them a lot.
