Maybelline Lifter Gloss Lip Gloss

   This is a hydrating lip gloss that makes your lips look full.

   Some of the ingredients in this gloss are C18-36 acid triglyceride, pentaerythrityl tetraisostearate, diisostearyl malate, coconut oil, sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid) and tocopherol (vitman e). C18-36 acid triglyceride is used to enhance textures in cosmetics and also helps to soften your skin. Pentaerythrityl tetraisostearate is a lipid-based emollient that doesn’t leave a sticky residue. Diisostearyl malate functions as a skin softening agent in cosmetics.

   The gloss is in a big rectangular tube that has a beige lid and a clear base to it. The name Lifter Gloss is engraved on the tube, it also has the company name and states that the gloss has hyaluronic acid in it in small pink writing on the tube as well. On the bottom of the tube it has the number and the name of the gloss colour.

   When I opened the gloss I could see that it has a big doe foot applicator and the gloss itself smells like a mix of caramel and vanilla. When I applied the gloss the first time I noticed that there was a lot of gloss on the wand and I applied a bit too much. When there was a lot of gloss on my lips, it felt very thick and looked sticky but it didn’t feel sticky. After that I used a lot less gloss and it didn’t feel as thick but it still looked sticky. The gloss does make my lips look fuller without those irritating ingredients, and every time I used the gloss it stayed on for about two hours and it kept my lips hydrated the entire time.

   Overall I think that this is a good gloss, and if you like the look of fuller lips but hate those irritating ingredients like I do than try this one out.
