Vichy Minéral 89 Eyes

This is an eye cream that helps to minimize your dark circles while hydrating your eye contour area.

The formula only has thirteen ingredients in it, some of those ingredients are Vichy mineralizing thermal water, propanediol, shea butter, glycerin, caffeine, sodium hyaluronate, adenosine and chlorella vulgaris extract. Propanediol is a natural or synthetic glycol that does many things. It enhances preservative efficacy, can help dissolve ingredients, decreases the viscosity of a product and is a humectant. Caffeine helps to decrease the puffiness and dark circles under your eyes. Adenosine has anti-wrinkle benefits and it helps to restore and smooth the skin. Chlorella Vulgaris Extract helps to minimize dark circles and spider veins.

The formula is free from colourants, alcohol, mineral oil, fragrance, silicones and parabens. It has been and tested under ophthalmological and dermatological control and allergy tested. This eye cream is suitable for contact wearers and is recognized skin health by the Canadian Dermatology Association.

The eye cream is in a semi-opaque blue glass bottle with a pump to dispense the product. The cream can be applied all over the eye contour, and when I did that I didn’t have any issues. You just have to make sure to use just a tiny bit so that you don’t accidentally get any in your eye. The eye cream has no scent to it, it does have a thin consistency to it and it absorbed quickly into my skin. Right away after using it, I noticed that my under eyes looked hydrated and my dark circles looked lighter. I have no puffiness under my eye so I cannot say how this cream would work for that.

Overall the eye cream did work as they said it would, and I recommend it if you want an eye cream that will hydrate and reduce the look of your dark circles.
