Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Trio

This is a trio of tinted lip balm and gloss hybrids that also act as a treatment.

This lip treatment has twelve fruit extracts/oils in it, as well as vitamin e. The twelve fruits are passion fruit, grapeseed, lemon, acai, pomegranate, goji, watermelon, strawberry, acerola, blueberry, peach and cranberry. Passion fruit helps to make your skin feel smoother and is full of antioxidants. Grapeseed oil is a light emollient oil that has antioxidant properties. Acai oil is an emollient that is full of antioxidants and vitamins. It is used for its anti-aging properties and its ability to restore moisture to your skin. Pomegranate is rich in antioxidants. The peach fruit extract is a humectant; it helps your skin hold onto water so that it feels moisturized. This lip product is formulated without mineral oil, phthalates, triclosan, parabens, sodium lauryl sulfate, gluten and soy. It is also vegan-friendly, cruelty-free, dermatologist tested and hypoallergenic.

The lip product is in a click pen, the base is a light pink with the name of the product on it in white. The cap and the clicker are both white.

The bottom of the clicker has a sticker in the colour of the product along with the name of it.

The applicator is a hard plastic and has a slanted tip.

One Swipe, Holiday Spritz (pink beige), Merry Martini (shimmering pink) and Buttered Rum (deep rosy beige).
Two Swipes, Holiday Spritz (pink beige), Merry Martini (shimmering pink) and Buttered Rum (deep rosy beige).
Three Swipes, Holiday Spritz (pink beige), Merry Martini (shimmering pink) and Buttered Rum (deep rosy beige).

The lip product has a coconut scent to it that lasts for a little bit. When I first put it on I noticed that you don’t need a lot of product, you just need to click up the pen once to get enough product. Upon applying it I noticed that you can tell that you do have something on your lips. It does feel a little bit sticky in the corners of my mouth, but on the rest of the lip it feels more glossy and the more I put on the thicker it felt. They say that one layer just gives you a treatment and to layer it for more coverage, but one swipe still does give you a little bit of colour. The balm did last on me for about two hours before I had to reapply it, and during that time my lips did feel hydrated.

Overall I do like these lip products and I think that they would make a nice gift for yourself or someone else.
