This is a buildable lip lacquer that hydrates your lips.
A few of the ingredients in the product are octylodecanol, sorbitan stearate, glycerin, sucrose cocoate and phenoxyethanol. Octyldodecanol is a synthetic ingredient that is used as an emollient and a texture enhancer. Sorbitan stearate is a vegetable-derived emulsifier that loves oil; it helps water to mix with oil. Emulsifiers are used to thicken and stabilize formulations. Sucrose cocoate is an ingredient that is obtained from coconuts and is used as an emollient. Phenoxyethanol is a synthetic preservative that is used in many cosmetic items.
The cap is black and the top of the cap is gold with a rose embedded on it. The top part of the tube is black and has Lancôme written in gold at the top of it. Near the bottom of the tube there is a gradient of the black into the colour of the lip product inside.
When I opened up the product I noticed that there is a scent to the formula, but it doesn’t last long. The applicator is in the shape of a small petal, the shape of the applicator makes it easy to get into the corners of my mouth.

The applicator has enough product to provide semi sheer coverage on the lips, if you want more coverage you will have to dip back into the tube. When I first applied it onto my lips it felt really sticky, after about five minutes it dries down a bit and it feels tacky. Throughout the day the lip lacquer didn’t move from lips. The product lasts for a few hours before I feel like I have to reapply it and throughout the day my lips feel hydrated while wearing it.
One of the selling points of this lip lacquer is that you can build it up and I feel like you can go from a sheer lip look to a bolder look if you want. I like this lip lacquer and I think that it performs well but I wish that it didn’t feel tacky on my lips.
