Urban Decay Wild West Eyeshadow Palette

   This is a vegan palette that has twelve desert inspired pigmented eyeshadows. 

   This 100% vegan and cruelty free eyeshadow palette has caprylic/capric triglyceride and oryza sativa extract / rice extract in the ingredients. Caprylic/capric triglyceride is derived from glycerin and coconut oil and is used as an emollient in cosmetics. It helps to replenish and moisturize your skin. Oryza sativa (rice) bran extract is a plant ingredient that is used to soften and nourish your skin. The brush and the hairs are also made out of synthetic materials.

   The palette is made out of a smoky brown hard plastic. The front of the palette has a snakeskin print under the clear plastic top and the words Naked and Urban Decay are raised while Wild West is flat. The palette has a strong magnetic closure, so it shouldn’t accidentally open on you. 

   When you open the palette there is a full sized mirror and also a double sided brush inside.

   When I swatched the shadows I could tell that they were really pigmented. When I dipped my brush into the matte shadows they kicked up some powder and I had to tap off my brush, but when I applied the shadow to my lid there was still a lot of pigment to them and not a lot of fall out. The two shimmer shades Hold ‘Em and Cowboy Rick have a lot of fall out and I noticed that the shimmer was a little hard to get rid of, you’ll want to be careful while applying these shades. All of the shadows blended out really well, but unfortunately a lot of the shadows did transfer up to my brow bone a little, but that is a problem with my deep set eyes. When the deeper shades transferred up, it looked like they had faded a tiny bit. All the shadows stayed on my eyes for the entire day without creasing except for Ruslter, it had creased a little bit. I have used these shadows with different eye primers and the results were the same.

   Overall I like the palette, you can create a wide range of looks and the shadows are really pigmented.
